The main Australian political party has reached an agreement for energy regeneration bill 19 August. Australian Government has passed the energy regeneration bill 20 August. The new bill provides that by 2020, 20% of Australia power shall come from regeneration energy such as solar energy and wind energy, and this is doubled the current regeneration amount. 8% of its power comes from regeneration energy at present.  

The designed target of the bill is four times of that in 2001. If the target could be realized as planned, the power generated by regeneration energy shall provide 21 million Australian people’s use.
