During the meeting “The International conference for High Voltage Power Transmission Technology 2009 ”, the General Manager for National Grid Company Liu Zhenya stated that it’s the new trend of world power development for promoting the intelligent grid. China will set up a full scale united intelligent grip till 2020.
Zhang Dejiang, member of the Politburo of the CPC of Central Committee, vice prime minister of state council, expressed at the conference that China will seek actively for the intelligent grid development road that suitable for China’s circumstances. It is said that this was the first time for Chinese high level leader to express the attitude of the intelligent grid to the public.
Liu Zhengya revealed that with the combination of fundamental circumstances and super high voltage practice of national grid, the country has confirmed the development target of accelerating the intelligent grid construction. In other words, the Country will speed up the pace of taking super high voltage grid as the key net brace and push the even development of all levels of grid to realize the united intelligent grid with features of information, digital, automatic and interactive base. National Grid Company will carry out with the principle of overall planning, united standard, pilot grogram leading the overall development, and speed up the development of high voltage key net brace featured with the combination of 1000 kv alternative current±800kv、1000kv direct current to push forward the intelligent grid development phase by phase with the development of all levels of grid development. By 2020, the united intelligent grid will be completely constructed.
