The statistics released by National Resource Bureaus 14 August shows that the total national social power consumption this July reached 342.002 Billion kw/h with an year-on-year increase of 6% and period-on-period increase of 10.9%.
The statistics shows that the total social power consumption amounted 1994.689 billion kw/h from Junary to July with a year-on-year decrease of 0.89%. The decreasing amplitude in July rose by1.35% comparing to the months from January to June. The consumption amount from primary industry was 53.417 billion kw/h with an increase of 5.05%, that from secondary industry was 1474.325 billion kw/h with an decrease of 4.26%, that of tertiary industry was 215.828kw/h with an increase of 10.37%, and that of resident electric consumption of city and countryside was 251.1 billion kw/h with an increase of 10.99%.
From January to July, the average utilizing hour of the accumulated power supply equipment was 2527 hours with an increase of 421 hours comparing to the months from January to June.That of thermal power equipment reached 2665 hours with an increase of 429 hours, that of hydropower was 1934 hours with an increase of 395 hours. Comparing to the same period of last year, the average utilizing hour of the accumulated power supply from January to July declined 286 hours, that of thermal power equipment declined 307 hours and hydropower equipment declined 76 hours.
Based on the statistics, the newly added power production plants capacity(in operation) national wide from January to July was 355.227 million kw/h, among which dydropower accounted for 9.4959 million kw/h and thermal power accounted for 23.4579 million kw/h.
